A name can make or break you before the person is ever met. I am African. My name is Lucy. But my middle name is 12 letters long. Maybe those names can be a middle name. Why do people find names that are difficult and. The Shazmikah's, Brookisha's and Niesha's of this world probably wish their mom thought of their future potential. Sorry for harshness. I just have seen so much discrimation and I have seen what a name can do.

Both of those seem too difficult to understand on the first try. Imagined being named ShaKerra (Shakira) but having someone get it wrong every time... I hate it. I'm expecting a baby girl soon & really want a short, simple name but Mia/Nia/Nyla/Layla has all been taken by close friends. :(

Thanks for the feedback! I like the difference in a name, then having something so common. I don't believe it has anything to do with Future Potential though! Sorry. My Fathers Side of the Family is African American, as well as my Daughters Father, & my daughter! Most of them have Crazy Spelled Names.... Like Shavian, Dauquine, Nastishka....lol & they have been very successful. One even owns her own law firm! Take all these celebrities naming there kids Cocoa, Apple, Pilot.... Lmao
