Diaper bag vs hospital bag?

Question

Are they the same thing? Would I use my diaper bag for a hospital bag? :0 what did you pack?! I'm clueless about this, sorry.

With my first I brought way to much stuff. The stuff il bring again this time is the diaper bag for baby, with extra diapers, two outfits, wipes, a blanket and any other items you want in your bag. For me and my husband, we will only bring two outfits, something to sleep in, phone chargers, pads & breast pads, nursing bra, hygiene stuff, my birthing ball for labor and my bobby pillow. And of course our camera! 😀Everything else we had the first time was not used. My duaghter will have a back pack with actives and a change of cloths, and snacks. She's going to stay with my MIL so she won't need much.

I packed a bag for myself and the diaper bag for the baby :). In you're bag you are gonna want to pack comfy pj pants and tshirt or nightgown, slippers, nursing bra, pads, nursing pads, camera, headphones, portable shampoo and conditioner etc.. In the diaper bag you will want anything you need for baby. Diapers, 2 outfits(incase of one getting dirty) pacifiers, wipes, burp cloth, receiving blanket etc..

I took both. My diaper was actually in my bag and i didnt pull it out until we were leaving cause of the stuff we got.

I have a hospital bag( gym bag) that I take for delivery and the hospital stay. I don't take my diaper bag I will use the diaper bag for outings after we come home.  Hospitals have too many germs for me the less I can take the better.
