I was enrolled in a group called Centering where instead of one on one prenatal visits it is a group based discussion. I went for a normal visit on Friday the 19th when they checked my blood pressure. It was high so they checked again. Because of this being a sign of pre-eclampsia they had me do blood work and a urine sample to check for protein. They found protein in my urine and my kidneys weren't functioning well so I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia and admitted to the hospital. With the concern of the baby they did an ultrasound to check her weight and she wasn't in the 10th percentile. They started the induction and my baby girl was delivered at 1218 on father's day the June 21st 2015.
