Fathers to be receiving TDAP vaccine?

Have any of you been told to have the baby's father receive th TDAP vaccine? Whether he received it at a younger age already or not?

Yes- and my mom is getting a booster too. The pertussis part is only good for 2 years and that is what's important. So even if they've had it they should get it again. 
Also, even if you've had it you want to get the shot while pregnant to pass immunity to baby.

I'm making my husband get his and I made my mom and aunt get one as well since they are coming to stay with me after baby is born. My son already had it so next up is me in gettinging mine Monday.

Yep. My husband got the tdap shot before I did. And I told him to tell his family to get it as well.

The schedule for TDAP is every 10 years. Mothers should get it every pregnancy, but fathers and other care givers only need the 10 year booster. My husband got it in the hospital the day after our son was born.
