How long would you put up with a marriage (with two kids) that you are unhappy in? Stay for the kids? He's like my best friend, sometimes lover, but so damn controlling I've had to change myself for him. After 2 years I don't know how much longer to put up with it! Been working on our relationship for 9 months now. It gets better for a little bit but goes back. I regret ever marrying him. We've been married 10 months. 6 weeks married he told me he was getting divorce papers, that's when it all started. I can't work, have no friends, no place to go, no car, no money... He reminds me I have nothing without him. Shld I stay? Should I wait a year?
