How often do you and your husband make love?

Just a little curious since my husband works long hours as a welder. Everyday he comes home from work so tired all he wants to do is eat and go to sleep. I've noticed we haven't made much time for ourselves because of his work schedule. I'm a soon to be teacher so my work schedule is pretty steady. While he works at a mine and is in the hot/cold weather 12 hours a day Monday to sometimes Sunday! My poor baby never gets a break. If yall have any advice/tips we would greatly appreciate it. I think that sometimes marriages just need to take a time out from life to kick it with each other. Make a weekend getaway. A date night.

Jackie you're too cute thanks for all the tips! I'll definitely take your advice into consideration. Michelle we are in the exact situation. We're currently viewing homes to buy...finally! We got married on 12-13-14 it's been 6 months we've been patiently saving while living with our parents. It's not that I don't feel loved or anything he takes his time to be with me and hang out all the time. It's just the intimacy level is not how a newlywed should be at lol. My boyfriend is a welder. We both just started out new jobs I was started working at night time at 10pm-6am and he would train at his job from 7am-7:30pm. So we would have about 2 hours together. I would get back and he would already be gone to work. We tired to make it work it was so hard not seeing him. It felt like he didn't love me or wanna be with me. He just told me he was tired all the time so we have done anything In a while. Or slept together in a while. Finally he starts night shift this week tho. So he will be working almost the same hours as me. We will get to sleep together and at night time we will go to work and do something durning the day together. I'm a lot happier now!

We are struggling too, we live with my parents right now to save money to buy a house, and the environment really ruins our chances for intimacy. Even if we "schedule" some time, chances are one of my parents will be near our bedroom for a while and we just can't get into it. We keep working at it though, and most importantly, talking about it. The hardest part has been the change toward needing to really concentrate on getting each other in the mood instead of it happening naturally (because when one of us gets home, we never know what's going on there, lol). Just keep trying!! There's no "magic number" to how many times per week is the best.

My hubby works Monday to sat a lot of the days are 5 am to 2 pm then 3-8/9/10/11 pm he comes home super exhausted I felt he didn't love me or he didn't feel like he found me attractive. So sex isn't as often as it use to be, and love making is just as rare.
