Do deny your SO sex?

Some may say it would be selfish to deny your SO sex, since they are off the market because of you. We are all human, with needs... If you take someone off the market, saying it is only you they should be intimate with... It is only right that you satisfy each others needs.... When needed... Right??

It's not selfish to deny sex. It's selfish to demand it and think it's your right to have it. I'm not in a submissive or abusive relationship, so if I don't feel well or I'm exausted I'm not obligated to have sex with my partner. Any caring person would understand.

You don't owe anyone sex, I don't think "deny" is even the appropriate word to use unless you're using not having sex as punishment. It is always your choice and only your choice to have sex. If you're not in the mood to have sex, you don't have to have sex. And if your SO can't understand that, then they are the selfish one.

I don't think it's right to be bugged so much to have sex. You shouldn't have sex if you don't want too either! I don't have sex if I'm very tired or sick. Why would you?

It's only right that my SO understands and accepts the fact that I won't always want to have sex whenever he does. And vise versa.

If I've been feeling ill (stuffed nose, coughing, sore throat, etc.), I'm probably not going to be in the mood to have sex. In fact, I'm probably not going to be in the mood to do anything. It would be extremely unfair of my SO to make me feel guilty for not having sex with him under that circumstance, right?

Even if I'm not ill... Maybe I'm just not in the mood that night. Should my SO insist that I have sex with him because it's my duty as his partner? Should I engage in sexual activity if I don't want to?

In all reality, my SO and I seem to be on the same page most of the time when it comes to sex. That being said, there's still times when one of us is in the mood, while the other isn't. All we can do is understand this and accept it. We would never force ourselves on each other, and we'll always remain "off the market" regardless.

I almost never say no... Just because he's always tired and I always want it, so I take it when it's available! Lol. Now if you asked him this question... He'd have to say he turns me down often...not having same sex drive sucks. Lmao
