Pep/puppp rash

Has anyone ever had this? I got it a week before I gave birth but it wasn't bad. After I gave birth it really came in full blast. I've cried so much I don't know what to do. Doctors aren't taking me serious and don't seem to care. I ended up in the emergency room 3 nights ago because I woke up crying at the top of my lungs. I do not cry so this was a huge red flag to my husband. They gave me steroids to take for 3 days and I've been showering with grandpa's pine tar soap which is recommended by woman who have had this. It's better I guess now but the itch is still there. I'm crying just writing this. I need help. I'm desperate. I'm trying to keep it together for the baby but it really is hard. I have one day left on steroids... what do I do after this? Is this ever going away? I feel I'm living a nightmare. I'd rather add another 10 hours to my long labor than go through this. Please help. I need help.
