Breast no longer gets engorged...supply decreasing?
My baby (a little over three months old) has been sleeping through the night since about five weeks, which causes me to still wake in the middle of the night to pump due to avoiding super engorged breasts and wanting to keep my supply up. I try to time it where my breast feel hard, but aren't completely wanting to explode. Pumping usually goes pretty quickly.. I would get AT LEAST 5oz per breast within 10-15 minutes of pumping.
The last three days though, my right breast doesn't seem to be getting "full" anymore. I wake up at around the same time every night, and my left breast feels like it usually does, but my right breast feels like my baby recently drank from it. Pumping, left breast = the usual, right breast stops at about 3oz for the same amount of time, or if I REALLY want to reach 5oz, it takes forever (maybe 40 minutes?). Now I'm worried my supply is lowering. I know pumping isn't necessarily a good indicator on your supply, but does it sound like my supply is decreasing, or maybe my breast is "regulating" (hopeful thinking)? 😱 I've been trying to use the tips to up my supply. I want to BF for at least a year! 😱😱😓😨😕😐😟
