Ovarian Cysts?. .

I just found out that I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). I had to do some research for myself to fully understand what this meant. I seen that one of the symptoms is infertility, which is really heartbreaking because I've always wanted children. 
I wanted to know if anyone is familiar with PCOS or if you also have it. And if so have you been able to conceive? What treatments have you taken?

I was diagnosed 12 years ago. I was on birth control to regulate my periods until I was 16. At 18 i conceived my son naturally and unexpectedly. 6 years ago I started trying for my second. No luck. I was put on 50 mg of clomid and that did nothing. This last year I was put in 100 mg of clomid. After 2 rounds i conceived but it was eptopic. Another 2 rounds of clomid at 100mg and I am 9 weeks along. When the was younger I had almost no symptoms except ovarian cysts and irregular periods. I was thin and healthy. After having my son, I gained weight, acne, facial hair, and so many other symptoms. Now that I am pregnant again, I am loosing weighting feeling great.

I was just diagnosed with pcos myself and my doctor placed me on medicine to help with the infertility

I have PCOS and have since I was 18 I had my 1st born when I was 19. As your dr about metformin which is used as a fertility booster which makes it easier for women with PCOS to conceive.

Just bc u have PCOS doesn't mean u r going to be infertile. Some women have it and r just fine. Others dnt have cycles or ovulate regularly. There r different severity levels. U can check these things urself over time by checking and charting ur cycles, temperatures each morning and taking ovulation tests starting the day ur period ends until the next period unless u get a positive. I have PCOS,32 days cycles and ovulate each month. I have been on metformin bc of my family history of diabetes which PCOS can cause later in life but otherwise it can also help with fertility.

Making a drastic change in your diet can help. By drastic I mean no gluten, no dairy, cut back on salt, so pretty much veggies and meat, nuts as a snack
