Are you scared of your 20 week anatomy scan ?

Tomorrow I am scheduled for my 20 week anatomy scan and I am little scared . All I want is my baby to be healthy . I read so many sad stories and I don't know what to expect ....

Hello girls thank you so much for your replies. I did the scan and my baby is doing fine   - we had the chance to see it very close - it was an amazing experience !!!

I was really anxious before mine and I mentioned that to the sonographer and she took time to explain everything we were looking at and at every stage would tell me that it looked good etc. Like here are the kidneys and they look great. Here is the heart, doing its thing and it looks good. It helped calm me down so much.

I was scared as well but just asked a lotttt of questions. Like "what's that?" "Is that normal?" "Everything looks healthy?" Over and over again lol. I had no idea what I was really looking at besides the obvious features you can see in the ultrasound. You will do great! Just try & stay relaxed and drink some juice first so baby is awake! Hope you get some great shots of your little one and hope all is well ☺️💘

I was nervous but I was so happy to finally see my little baby's face and find out what we were having. I had tears in my eyes the whole time. I'm still in awe that me and my husband have created a life and that there is a wonderful thing happening inside my belly! ❤️

I had mine yesterday and I was so nervous and scared until the dr went over everything and said she's perfectly healthy and I finally breathed a sigh of relief. It just took soooo long with me laying there that's the only part I didn't like lol
