How long did u wait to tell family & close friends you were pregnant?

How long did u wait to tell family (parents & siblings) & close friends (church small group) that you were pregnant? I am 4.5 weeks pregnant & I really want to tell our good news...but my husband wants to wait a ridiculously long time (20 weeks)! This is my 2nd pregnancy & I know I will start showing way before the gender reveal! Haha so...about how many weeks were you when u made ur pregnancy announcement!?!

I couldn't not tell my immediate family right away. Same with close friends. I just don't see how people keep a secret that big from people they see often. I don't have the will power.

I told everyone the day I found out. Why wait because of others experience? Make your own!

I am 4w5d. I found out Sunday night, when I was 4w2d. We told my parents and his parents immediately :p and very close friends. It depends on the person. We are very open people, I couldn't keep it a secret haha

I told family immediately (5 weeks), friends at 8 weeks, and social media at 12 weeks.

I waited until I was 20 weeks but I had a history of miscarriages as well, understand it's difficult to hold into news but better to be safe than sorry, sympathy for a loss is much more difficult.

Told husband, sister, parents, best friend, and close cousin the day I found out at 4w! Trying to wait to tell brothers until 7 or 8 weeks, and maybe other relatives and friends around 10-12 weeks after I've had a doc visit and heard a heartbeat. I had a miscarriage in March at 17 weeks (baby stopped growing at 13), but I would rather people know so I get support and understanding. I can't imagine going through that and keeping it a secret.

I told my mom and sister immediately, the same day. Then I spilled the beans to my mil and sil and bils. And then a few friends here and there. Publicly announced it right before 12 weeks.

I waited until 14 weeks.. my friend and I got pregnant around the same time, I was a few weeks before her, when I announced at 14 weeks she told people too, but was 7 weeks. Unfortunately she miscarried around 9 weeks and I know how awful that is to deal with, but then to have to explain it/talk about it when you don't want too is even harder😕 I'd just suggest waiting the 12 weeks they suggest waiting for! Congratulations!!☺️❤️
