Anyone have a laprascropy? Did it help you conceive

I am having the procedure next week and wondering if anyone can share any experiences with me.

How was the procedure and recovery?  Do you feel it was beneficial in getting pregnant?

Any advice is greatly appreciated xx

Yes I have had one as well as a salpingectomy. The crazy thing is I never had a period between the loss and my current pregnancy. I ended up immediately getting pregnant and when I went in for my first ultrasound, the sonographer said I released the egg from my left ovary even though the tube is gone! I'm currently 10 weeks and everything is going great.

I had a lap for a solitary polyp in the uterus as well as to check the tubes.. The recovery was smooth and I conceived 6 months post that with my 3rd iui.. (Male motility was also an issue )

I did and they found stage 2 endometriosis and cleared it all. We had an IUI done the following month and were pregnant. We'd been trying for 18 months and had two prior IuIs with clomid and/or injectable meds. We are currently 13 weeks today!!! 😍 the surgery went well. No complications. I recovered quickly, virtually no pain at all. I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia that gave me a vertigo like experience for over a week but I think that's a rare side effect. Good luck!!!
