Are reusable cloth pads worth it?

Depends on what you mean by worth it. Cost wise, yes if you stick to your budget. Harder than you think! They're so addicting. Health wise, YES YES YES. So much better for you than the chemicals in disposables. Plus they can be sanitized unlike disposables. YES for comfort.

Personally, I have never used cloth pads. I actually use a menstural cup, which was one of the best decisions I made for my period. But I've been thinking about picking up a few cloth pads, just in case I ever need one.

One of the biggest things about the menstural cup that appealed to me was the fact that it was a one-time expense. My cup paid for itself in less than two months. That's the biggest thing that appeals to me about the cloth pads as well.

People seem to think that because it's reusable, it's disgusting an unsanitary. I've noticed the exact opposite. With reusable items, you're actually able to sanitize them. They seem to be a far more comfortable and convient option (you never have to worry about running out!) and you're saving money. I'd say give them a try!

I've never tried them but I have a feeling I'd hate them just as much as wearing throw away pads!  I've been thinking about giving the cup a try though!
