Are there are breeds that are more friendly than others? I really would like to get a support animal but I was wondering if there are breeds that are more human friendly. Sorry if this is a silly question! I've just heard people comment on friendly breeds before

Go for raggamuffins, I have one and she's the Chattiest  and follows me around like a dog, and she loves getting pet... now my blue chartreux cat barely talks... and she's not as forward, gets annoyed easily, short  temper...

Or get a domestic, just teach it early on not to scratch doors (most annoying thing in the middle of the night)

And spay/ fix your cat when it's old enough... unless you want your home smelling like cat piss (males), loud meowing and horny kitties

A lot of orange tabby males tend to be very very friendly. Females can be a little moody. I have Tortie shell which are normally moody brats but mine is super social and friendly. Get to know a kitten before bringing them home though. That's the best method.

Ragdolls. They're VERY easy going and just like to curl up on your lap and chill.

It depends on the cat. Every cat has a different personality. I have a half Siamese half Himalayan female and she's a bitch. Honestly she's very needy and very loving but she's a bitch. She's a lot of work as well and is only 3yo. I have a 2yo short hair domestic male (don't know his breed he's a mix) and he's so demanding! He will complain if I'm not in bed by 11 because he wants to cuddle and sleep, I pick up the food dishes at night cuz they're on a weight control food cuz my female is quite chunky and needs to loose some weight, so about 5/6am he starts to wake me up by licking my hands and trying to lick my nose and pawing at my forehead and try's to shove himself between my face and pillow so I wake up and feed them haha. He will also shove his way onto my lap and will get there any way he can including going over the top of my couch and then hopping down my chest and laying down on what I'm doing and making me shift so he can cuddle. Every cat is different though. You pretty much have to go and play with them if they're at someone's house and look at them that way. It's how I pick my cats. I go an see them all and then decide which one is available and if their personality matches me.
