Ftm and concerned

I see other people saying how their dr has checked their cervix about the 30 week mark to check if they were dilated. My dr has made no mention of this. And I'm currently 32 weeks. Just wondering if this is something they should be checking or if it's checked more if your considered high risk? I go and they check my urine, blood pressure and measure me then I'm on my way.
