Stopped depo.....

So I am currently ttc I stopped the depo injection March 2014 I was on it for 4 years. It took me forever to start a period I had one in November that lasted 5 days, had one in January that lasted 7 days, I didn't have another period until April 28th 2015 and it's now July 3rd and I'm still bleeding. Some days im only spotting but the majority of the normal it gas been a normal regular flow.... I've gone to obgyn and he saws that if I'm not having a normal period once a month he will give me something to make me ovulate normally has anyone else had this problem, should I expect to bleed for another 3 months(I hope not)? On top of this I'm emotional, moody, gaining weight, fatigued, I just feel like laying in bed all the time (but can't)....
