Does everyone lose their mucus plug? Or is that another thing that is different in every pregnancy?

I never lost it with my son and was induced when I was overdue.

I don't remember losing it with my first (that was 6 yrs ago) I'm pregnant with #2 and haven't yet. I'm 38 weeks today. So I guess we'll see in the next couple weeks if I do or not. I'm 2 cm dilated now
