You really need to do research on this. Things you would have no idea ever needed animal byproducts, need them, like alcohol.

Yeah I completely agree. Research definitely has to be conducted on a lot of products purchased. Once you find a good brand though you can stick with it. I was shocked to know how many wines use animal bone as a binding agent.

What I mean is, how many people know some alcohol companies, use animal products to produce their wine, beer, etc... Probably not a lot. I didn't know soy sauce wasn't vegan or some other condiments. I didn't say it was hard, I said it required research.

I think of it less of can and can not eat, since I can do anything I want - more like I choose not to consume animal products.Avoid meat, dairy, eggs, and animal byproducts like whey and gelatin. There are great resources online like vegankit that help beginner vegans in terms of what to eat.Watch documentaries, get educated on the health and environmental impacts of eating animal products as well as how animals are abused and it makes veganism almost effortless. Haha. Finally dont beat yourself up for slip-ups it happens to all of us.Good luck!

Can't: products containing meat, fish, eggs, milk or any animal by-productCan: EVERYTHING else :DMake sure you have a good reason and enough education on it to stick to it - watch Cowspiracy, Earthlings, Forks Over Knives, 101 reasons to be vegan and look up BiteSizeVegan on YouTube for shorter educational stuff.Check "What I eat in a day" videos on YouTube by vegans like Essena and anyone else you come across.Educate yourself on nutrition (I recommend Dr McDougall and Dr Greger) and play around with a few different vegan ways of eating before choosing the best for you (e.g. rawtill4, hclf, starch solution). Don't be afraid to experiment and expect your tastebuds to change - you'll start tasting fruit and veg a lot better and it's amazing!Don't be too hard on yourself, as long as your intentions are right you're doing okay :)

I agree with what everyone else said and remember Veganism is about standing up for the animals, people and the environment. Leather, wool, silk and fur are also cruel to animals, beauty and hygiene products and many other products brutally test on animals and vegans avoid them as much as they can. Research more about the animal skin industry. If you have it already don't beat yourself up. With fur coats and probably wool too, you can donate them to shelters to help keep baby animals warm. I think the more research you do the more confident you will feel in your choice. Thank you for choosing the animals 💕

How is it going so far?? I hope you're finding and learning new things!! The best thing I did for my switch was hop on YouTube and look up greatest vegan speech ever. It's kinda long buuuuut it is really freaking awesome. Plus the the more you know the easier the switch is. So just try to look up stuff and research it.

If it has a face, don't eat it. If it came from something that has a face, don't eat it. Check labels. Watch Earthlings and Forks Over Knives. Those are the two documentaries that made me go vegan. Watch YouTube videos. High Carb Hannah, Cheap Lazy Vegan, Banana TV, Tami Torossian. Those are the people I watch religiously and get info and meal ideas from. Lastly, enjoy yourself. You are saving your body, the planet, and thousands of animals. 👏
