Yeast inf. with blood?

My period isn't due for another week, I have been having this weird feeling in my pelvis/lower abdomen, slight cramping but also kind of ticklish sometimes. Anyways, I've had yeast infections a lot in the past year and two days ago I figured I just got another one. So I started the 3 day monostat. But the discharge I've been having isn't cottage cheese like, it's more yellow brownish and thick but smooth. And today I've started having small amount of brown blood. I was told it's difficult to have a yeast infection on your period because the PH levels are balanced. But then again, what if I DO have a yeast infection but this blood isn't my period  blood??? Any suggestions or opinions of what might be going on?
