Telling mom over the phone?

I live a few hours away from my parents and I haven't had the chance to come visit. Would it be a bad thing to break the news over the phone? I don't want to wait 'til I'm really far a long.. Right now I'm 10w1d.

What are your thoughts on this?

I live 45 minutes from my mom and see her often. I told her on the phone but it was also immediately after I took my test. I was too excited.

I live 450 miles from my mother.. And I called her. At first, she didn't know what to think simply because of my past... I gave her a few days and then she wanted to know when she was going to get to start telling people she was going to be a Nannie again. Lol. She wanted to post to social media before I could and I had to tell her no. She's brimming with excitement, now and I'm glad I told her when I did. 😁
