Implantation Bleeding ? I'm so sad. For Mommas Out There!

My fiancé and I have been TTC for about 5 months with no luck. Feeling so discouraged and sad when this showed just now. I'm 12 DPO and AF is due in 2 days (July 9th). Could this be implantation bleeding? I've heard it's not supposed to be red.

Just a little update. No longer bleeding after a few more spotting incidents of light brown blood. Strange!

I am currently on my 3ed month of metformin, I have pcos and irregular periods however I got 2 periods since starting metformin but now I'm 10 days past my expected period , I have the same spotting and a few other symptoms.  I'm curious what your result was ?
also any woman on metformin going through this as well ??
