When to announce your pregnancy?

Hello! I'm a little over 7 weeks pregnant with my first little one and I'm bursting at the seams trying to hold in the news! It's so hard when it's all that I think about now! My boyfriend and I want to take cute pregnancy announcement pictures soon, but we don't know WHEN would be a good time to post them.

Does anyone have any advice on this? I was thinking 9 weeks, but is that still a little too early?

By the way, our close friends and immediate family know the news already :) it's hard for EVERYONE involved to keep their mouths shut! Haha

I did mine at 6 weeks. Personally if anything had gone wrong, I would have rather had support from my friends and family.

Whenever you want!! If something bad happens, cross that bridge when it happens. But we live in a world of too many "ifs". Celebrate!

I announced it after I went to my first doctors appointment

I waited until 20 weeks. I wasn't sure if I was healthy enough to carry a child at first and I started feeling more comfortable around that time. :)

First pregnancy with my daughter I announced it at like 6 weeks I believe! I was so happy & excited! This time around, my family and some close friends know but I'm gonna at least try to keep it shhh until 10 weeks but we will see! If my doctor says everything is great & baby is okay I'd say go for it, have faith :)

I told all my immediate friends and family pretty early on, 8 weeks I think. We didn't make it FB official until after 6 months, kept putting it off and I think FB is overrated anyways.

After you have a second trimester appt. I announced on FB when I reached second trimester, but it hadn't occurred to me that baby can die and you'd have no idea 😢 glad you told family and close friends! It's amazing to have support and understanding if anything were to happen
