Inverted nipples and breastfeeding?TMI

I have inverted nipples, but they do pertude when I'm cold, etc. has anyone else had this? Did it make breastfeeding difficult for you?

I do too. With my first I had to use the shields for a while and then they were fine on their own. With my four other babies I didn't have a problem breastfeeding. Hopefully I won't have a problem this time around either.

One of my issues yes but I had a lot of other things with dd that made breastfeeding hard. I used nipple shields that helps your nipples protrude. After a while my nipples were no longer inverted and I didn't need them. I don't think I'll have issues with inverted nipples this time though.

I have this too and I never used nipple shields or anything and I bf just fine. Just have to pinch your breast when they latch

I have inverted nipples and with my first daughter it was difficult for her to latch. I used the nipple shield and it worked great. At about 6 months of breastfeeding I was able to stop using the shield and my daughter would latch on without the shield
