This is one of them old wise tales ! About 70% accurate . That's why I did this just for fun ! Some who have read my post before know my doubts I have with my gender reveal I recently went to and since I already had baking soda and seen quite a few people indicate how accurate it was I thought , oh what the hell ! They say to take a tablespoon of FRESH (not years worth of baking soda just lying around) baking soda and place it in a cup (I used a red solo cup) then take another cup and pee in it . Pour the pee cup in the baking soda cup and if it sizzles that indicates boy and if nothing happens that states girl . Well I just did this and no sizzle in my cup , twice . Which indicates GIRL . Once with my morning urine and the other with my "mid day pee" . Now I'm just driving my own self up the wall as I already had/have doubts about the gender of my baby ! Lol guess , i will know for sure if this theory was as accurate as some claim it is in about a week in a half or so ! 😩😁
