Has anyone had the nexplanon implant?

I just had my mirena removed June 18th. And decided a few weeks ago to try the implant out. Just wondering if anyone has had and how they liked it. I'm still waiting to have it put in. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had mine in may 2015 but getting it removed soon this week  cuz I was on my period 3 weeks straight and really bad cramping... So I disliked it.

Had it. HATED it. It messed with my hormones, made me depressed and miserable. My libido had seized to exist and I gained a good 10 pounds even though I was trying to consume less. I had it out in 3 months. I don't recommend it.

Took away my period, , shooting pain down my arm (more annoying then painful), caused weight gain, and chest pain (not a normal side effect). I had to have it removed after 30 days, and would of been sooner but my dr was on vacation. My periods are still messed up from it so if you want to TTC within the next 2 years I wouldn't get it till your done having them.
