Is it ok to have another baby shower?

My fiancé and I are having our first child together......but we both have children from previous relationships. The problem is by the time our baby is born our other children will be 8, 6, and 5&1/2. While I still have my youngest child's crib we've both pretty much gotten rid of all our baby stuff OR the things we had have been recalled. I was initially thinking we could do something casual but a friend mentioned that calling it 'a baby shower' might not be appropriate. Any thoughts?
