I am currently in college studying computer information technology, I have about a year left. I am currently not working but I used to work as computer technician. I am trying to make a little extra money to buy things for the baby and save up a bit. I constantly hear people talking about their computer problems and I can usually fix most of them. Would it be weird if I offer to fix it for a fee? How do I charge them what I would consider a fair amount when they are friends. Also how do I promote this type of business, word of mouth?
