I am 18 weeks, five days today. Just laying in bed, watching TV, and all of a sudden I feel a little flutter under my bellybutton. At first I thought it was just a stomach ache, but sure enough a minute later I thought the same thing again. Could this have been the first time I felt my baby?

Sounds like it! I remember feeling something like that with my first around 17 weeks and thinking it was too soon. Then by 20 weeks those little butterfly feelings got stronger and I realized I'd been feeling her all along!
