Baby shower?

I am so nervous about this baby shower my sisters are planning me I feel like no one will show up and I'll be very embarrassed! I didn't really want one in the first place Bc I only have a few (3) friends that I talk to And I just don't want to make a big deal about it... Has anyone else had a bad no show baby shower? Or just felt really nervous about having one?

We are doing a couples shower and invited about 20 couples (close friends and family) 5 have rsvpd. I'm about to send a reminder ( we live in a gated mountain community and have to call in gate passes for each and every one, not to mention food prep). I have heard from other friends that this is typical. It is stressful!

I always get nervous that no one will show to any kind of party I plan. I think when it comes to babies lots of friends and family will show. Everyone loves babies. No worries.

I was nervous about my baby shower, my boyfriend also invited about 5 of my friends and only ONE showed up.
This past weekend we threw a party for my daughters first bday and we were nervous that no one would show bc the rain was going crazy that day, literally raining hard! And surprisingly EVERYONE we invited showed up, even though it was raining they were there having fun with us and the place was completely filled, we had a jumper and the kids were still in there even though it was raining😄 people will show so don't worry! You'll end up loving it and all the cute little gifts☺️

I invited about 50 people to mine and less than half showed up. I was upset but it was still fun:)

We are in the same situation I only have : friends as well n a few family members that will come  but I guess it better then none I'm jus going for the food n conversation lol

We're planning mine and I'm nervous to even announce it. My husbands military so I moved away from home a few years ago and haven't been home much. I still talk to a few people but other than that I feel weird inviting people, like I'm out for gifts or something. I just want people there who want to celebrate this with us. I also never had a wedding shower or a real wedding so my dad wants to do this big but I'm afraid no one will want to come
