All natural and I never felt overwhelmed by the pain and didn't get close to the point of considering an epidural. Don't fight contractions. Find a way to roll with them (like with breathing exercises) and you'll get in a good mindset. If you go into it without anxiety you'll have a better time with it.

Its weird. Its not what I was exactly expecting. Labor and birth are a very strange experience, for me I felt kind of like I was having an out of body experience or something. Like "OK this isn't real. Is this real? Am I tripping?" Haha

And yes it was excruciating even with an epidural!

I thought it was going to be way worse. I hear so many horrible stores of being induced and I was scare I was going to be in labor for a long time and end with a c section. Instead I got a epidural, less then 5 mintues of pushing and she was out. All together my labor was 16 hours.

First time, awful but care was mismanaged. Once I was looked after properly, I was ok.

Second time, much easier. I knew what I was doing.

3rd time, I'm looking forward to another natural birth.
