Would you swim in the ocean pregnant?

I'm going to the beach tomorrow for a mini vacation. With all the news about shark attacks this summer, and me not being to move quickly being almost 6.5 months pregnant, I'm wondering what you ladies would do. Would you swim in the ocean or just relax on the beach?

Living in Hawaii the doctors actually suggest swimming in the ocean :)

You are much more likely to be in a car accident on the way to the beach than be attacked by a shark. Ha ha

I don't swim in the ocean not pregnant lol so I would just sort of wade in up to my knees so I can see what's around me still lol

I wouldn't go in past my knees. The ocean is full of fishes that are more than 100  times my body weight. No thank you.

I'm only supposed to swim in chlorinated water to keep parasites and all that gunk away from my vag while I'm pregnant. I would only go in up to my knees.

I just did last month! :) I didn't go in too deep bc the water was rough but ya I say go for it!!

I'm headed to the beach on Saturday and I plan on going in! We're going to a beach on the Florida Panhandle so I will be able to see in the water. I won't be going super far out, I'll make sure I can still touch the bottom so water will be like chest level. However, if I was going to one of the beaches that have been having shark problems lately, I wouldn't be going past my toes lol

I'm pregnant and at the beach now.. I go in get wet and come out. And I've always been terrified of the ocean. Sharks and jelly fish especially. Just go there's a million things that could happen at any other point in life that could hurt you as well.
