3D or 4D Ultrasound? I know it's optional and they're expensive and some look really strange. Was is really worth it for you?

I found one on groupon for $49 and I can say it was well worth it. I found out that my little girl has her daddy's nose and likes to do the duck face.

To see my baby girl smiling was worth every penny. She smiled when her daddy was talking so that made it even more special.

This was the best spend of money my entire pregnancy. It completely overwhelmed me and I cried the entire way home. It was extraordinary and I would recommend it to anyone whose baby is still small enough to be seen well!!!

With my first I paid for one and he wouldn't show his face at all so I was pretty disappointed. Then, a few weeks later I had to have an ultrasound at my Drs office because I was measuring bigger and the tech turned on the 3D and we got a beautiful, clear picture. I have a different practice now and they have never turned on the 3d option so I've been tempted to go but really need to save all for my unpaid maternity leave!

First one at 26 weeks didn't go well, she was transverse (with feet on her forehead lol) and the cord was across her face. It cost $100 but we were able to reschedule and get a redo for $25 which went much better (at 30 weeks).

We found a special for $59.....and it was SO worth it!  I would look around at all providers in your area for specials.  Our image turned out great- not all squishy looking. It was absolutely incredible to see her face, and I think it will be so cool to give to her someday!
