How much water to drink for ultrasound??

Question

Hey ladies how much water before a ultrasound were you told to drink? And ultrasound turned out clear. I was told to drink 1 Litre a hour before appointment, last time I could not hold it. I go in on Wednesday and ill be 19weeks 3 days. Just wanting some options xo

My OB doesn't require a full bladder for ultrasounds. Idk why. My OB that I had before did...but my last ultrasound I specifically asked if I needed a full bladder and was told no it was not necessary. Next time I am there I'm going to ask. Lol.

I was told not to. They made me pee 3 times during my anatomy scan at 18 weeks to give my baby more room for better pictures.

They didn't tell me to drink extra for any of my sonograms.

Fir the 19 week ultrasound its just 500ml / 16 oz.... Its just two cups of water..... Much easier than the earlier ultrasound ;)

I believe my doctor recommends 8oz to 16oz. I usually drink more to make sure I can pee in the cup for them.

I was told 33 ounces of water an hour before my appointment. I ended up drinking more in less time and peed 3 times at the appointment and almost didn't make it home before having to pee again!

I was told only drink a ton of water if it was an ultrasound before 15 weeks. After that they had me use the bathroom before they started.

I was told to drink 32 oz of water in the hour before. I was very uncomfortable and had to go to the bathroom in the middle.
