At week 15 I had the procedure done. I have had it done prior when I was pregnant with my son in 2011 but was under anesthesia. This time with my daughter I had regional anesthesia and was awake. Most awkward procedure ever!! But painless and took maybe 20 minutes. In recovery it took awhile for me to get feeling in my feet again and I had slight cramping and bleeding till tje next day which is normal. But been great ever since.

For those who dont know, a cerclage is a cervical stitch. I have a weak cervix and this helps it stay closed during pregnancy. The one down fall is no sex till baby is born.. but worth it for sure!
