Cloth diapers and accessories

So my fiancé and I have been discussing our intent to use cloth diapers even before we got pregnant. The initial investment is higher but being able to reuse them and lessen the impact on the environment is a HUGE plus. This is our first baby and I have NO IDEA what brand to use or what we are going to need in total. So, what brand did you use and would you recommend them? How many did you need to build a sufficient stockpile? What wet bag would you recommend? HELP ME!
