When me and my husband got married I brought in 1 kid and he brought in 2. I had a baby shower for my son nearly 4 years ago and got rid of everything thinking I'm not having anymore kids, he had 1 baby shower since him and his ex girlfriend had 2 girls. Well we are expecting a baby boy this winter and my mom and her friend want to throw me a baby shower since I no longer have baby boy things, well our families are almost 2 hours apart and he wanted to have a separate one with his family so some people don't got to travel hours for it, well his mom told me her family only believes in one baby shower per family.... This would be our 1 shower as the family we are now? Do people really think this way? I was always told baby showers are a way to celebrate the life you're about to being into the world
