13 day cycle?!

My cycle was only 13 days this week. It's normally 28-31 days. 
Any insight as to why?

There are many reasons your cycle can change. 
Stress, life style chances or syncing up to another female could be reasons for this to happen. I've had my cycle both delayed and start early over time due to stress factors and pregnancy once (I continued having my period during pregnancy, so perhaps something you should check) 
Make sure you pay attention to your body and if you show other symptoms, or you show any more irregularities definitely go and get it checked out.
