TTC after erupted ectopic pregnancy

My husband and I experienced an ectopic pregnancy where I lost my tube three months ago. We were devastated. Our only child is about to turn 5 years old and we have been TTC for six months now. I won't go into details about our painful experience but I will say that my husband almost lost more than his unborn child that day and that I had a lot of internal damage from the ruptured tube. Has anyone else experienced this and have you been able to successfully conceive afterwards?
