Hair falling out?

I'm 25 and I've always had strands of hair fall out but nothing serious. The last few weeks when I brush, wash or try to do my hair I seem to have many strands or sometimes even clumps come out all at once. Anyone else had this happen? Any ideas what it could be?

It could be stress, hormonal imbalance, bad diet, genetic, change of shampoo, after giving birth or you left your wet hair to dry in cold air ... You gotta find the reason first and then start treating the problem. I would start taking biotin.

I would think it's normal. If I wear my hair up then brush it or even wash it later on it seems like lots of hair is coming out. When you wear your hair down you get those several strands that feel like spiders when they fall out lol buuuuut if your hair is up, imagine those hair can't come out completely. They are sitting in your ponytail or bun until you take it down.

I have the same problem. I have PCOS and i know thats one of the symptoms but its just horrible. Ive been crying cause of how bad it is. I dont know what to do. 😭

I had this happen when I was dying my hair all the time. I have thick, quick growing hair and starting having a lot of hair come out at once. Like I was washing my hair and would go to rinse my hands and it looked like a clump had come out. But now, 2 years later, my hair is healthy and stronger than ever.

My hair use to be so thick and now it's thinning. I think mine was caused by stress. I started taking biotin and it seemed to help with thickness and growth.

Yes!! My hair sheds so much and I've been stressing about it for at least a year now. Seems like since 3 months postpartum up until now (my daughter is 20 months) I have hair strands all over the place. I've talked to multiple doctors and had my hormones checked and they say everything is perfect. I feel a difference and it's so frustrating to me! I don't know what to do about it.
