Hi all! Anyone having luck conceiving with a partner that smokes? TTC for 18 months :(

I don't smoke but my bf smokes like a chimney!  I'm worried it will affect his sperm.

I was smoking and so did my husband but when I found out I was pregnant I stoped. He still smoke just not around me so that has nothing to do with that but wish you good luck and don't give up!!!!!

We have been ttc 6 months for #1. My husband smokes regularly and me only socially, although I cut back alot. I was worried him smoking could ruin his sperm and would cause us to be unable to conceive. He was on the path to quitting but not quite there. Found out yesterday I'm pregnant! So it obviously didn't hinder us that much. Although he will be quitting soon anyway!

My DH has smoked the whole 11 yrs we've been together and we have 2 healthy children ages 9 and 6😀 We have been trying to get pregnant again since December. I've always smoked too..I just quit when I found out I was pregnant and while breastfeeding. The big question. .WHY do I always start smoking again??! Uhh. I know it can affect fertility but lots of people do get pregnant when they smoke. Still TTC we should avoid cigarettes altogether.
