Can a positive test fade on a HGC strip test?

Just did a HCG strip test and there was two lines before 5 mins, then I went back 10 mins later the second line has gone, the control line is still there. Thank you x

I believe this is happening to me right now. Very frustrating. My tests do state that they are invalid after ten mins. They fade after about thirty mins. Best of luck xx

My AF last month was 6th July-11 July. My app told me that this months was due 7th August. I did my test on the 30th on a HCG strip and got a faint/hardly see able positive, I then tested the next morning with my FMU and got a positive on a FRER. I then tested yesterday and got the pregnant 2-3 on the digital. I say do a frer (they are normally right, I've not got a false negative or a false positive. Good luck. X
