Is this even normal????

For three days I've had hardly any CM, and when do its in small amounts and chunky and smells metallic-ish. Ive just been so DRY down there. Yesterday when wiping I also noticed discomfort around the top outside area of my vagina. Under the labia majora to be exact.

When I showered in the evening I decided to inspect the area and I noticed I have a very thin crack straight down the fold of my vagina on either side between the labia majora and labia minora. The left side is half as long as the right.

Is this fungal or a yeast infection perhaps? I can't even have sex. My husband said he hopes its not an std, like herpes. My heart dropped to the floor!

I'm toot embarrassed to see my doc about this because my PCM works in the same clinic I do. And if I ask to get the heads up to go see someone else I just feel like someone might speculate. It's not painful today and I haven't looked at it yet.

Have you had this problem??
