Correctly measuring bra size!

Faith
As young teens learning (and even women), we often just head to Victoria's Secret or another store assuming they will measure our bra size correctly (because they're supposed to know what they're doing) and going with it. We end up with uncomfortable bras that have straps sliding down our shoulders, a band that rides up our back, boobs spilling out of the cup, etc. The reality is, stores like VS often skew your measurements to put you in a size of bra that they offer so you'll buy from them.
Anyway, I just wanted to make a PSA about bra sizing. I thought I was in the right size, even though my bra was uncomfortable. All of those problems I just mentioned (and didn't mention) can be fixed by a bra that truly fits! There is a lot more to it than I can explain here, but basically, DD does not equal huge boobs. That's society's ideology that ladies are raised to believe, not reality. In fact, my boobs are average sized and when I truly measured myself I found out I'm supposed to be wearing a 30G, not the 32DD that VS put me as. I am SO much more comfortable now! Sometimes I forget I'm wearing a bra!

I know the crazy cup sizes might be making you shy away, but trust me and at least give it a try, and your boobs and back will thank you! Further explanation can be found at reddit.com/r/abrathatfits, or if you just want to ask me a question you can comment and I will answer the best I can! The ladies there are excellent! I hope you have as wonderful of a change as I have!
