I know I'm going to get a lot of negative comments for this but....

Adoption is not an alternative to abortion. Adoption is an alternative to parenthood, abortion is an alternative to pregnancy. I am fully pro choice because even as an eighteen year old in a serious relationship with someone I adore if faced with an unplanned pregnancy I would seriously have to consider abortion. pregnancy is HARD. Call me selfish if you must but I'm not mentally or physically prepared to carry a child to term. Sex is not a baby contract. Sex is an act of love and pleasure that can bring two people a whole new world of intimacy and I shouldn't have to be punished for enjoying that closeness.
