Hair falling out?!

Any one else notice that after having awesome pregnancy and postpartum hair (long and thicker than ever before) that it's now falling out in clumps? LO is about 3 1/2 mo old. Any tips to slow down the falling out?

Unfortunately, yes! Like everyone else said though, it's just the hormones and totally normal. Thankfully I had super thick hair before. It just grosses me out because I find it EVERYWHERE.

It's totally normal and is all to do with hormones but it will pass

Unfortunately this is totally normal and all you can do is wait for your hormones to balance again. The thing about pregnancy is that it doesn't make you grow hair faster, it just increases the life cycle of the hair. When you stop being pregnant, you have a ton of hair in its final stage (ready to fall out), so you experience normal shedding in copious amounts.

I heard the falling out of hair peaks between 3 and 4 months pp so I'm sure it'll slow down naturally on its own in a month or so! My mom warned me about this but I'm 3 1/2 months pp too and no sign of major hair loss yet.

My son is 7 months old and my hair is still falling out. It's getting better than in the beginning, but I think it happens to everyone. I still take prenatals because I'm breastfeeding, but that hasn't helped.
