More or less fertile after MC?

I've found conflicting articles about whether or not women are more or less fertile after MC. My 44 year old friend got pregnant just six months after her MC and delivered a healthy full term baby girl. Please share your thoughts.

I wasn't more fertile we tried right away and have been TTC for almost 9 months now the first BFP only took 3-4 months so I'm not sure what the hold up is!
