Financial Assistance/Medicaid Question
Hopefully someone has experience with a similar situation on here! (I couldn't find anything close online)
I have a well paying job, but to get this job I also have a massive amount of student loan debt.
If you only look at my salary then there's no way I could qualify for Medicaid or assistance but if you deduct the amount I have to pay for my student loans monthly (I've already lowered them) then I'm within the margin.
This wouldn't be a big deal, but I'm the only source of income and am only getting 5 days paid on maternity leave. I've stopped loan payments as much as I can in order to hopefully cover my income gap, but this isn't even factoring in the HUGE medical bill I'll be getting where I'll be charged my max ded and out of pocket + starting a new ded for baby 3 days after she is born.
With this, does anyone know if there's any assistance available for this type of situation? Are student loans and unpaid maternity leave factored in to the Medicaid review process? I'm in Oklahoma if that makes any difference.
