Pumping helps bring on labor?

I hear using your breast pump can help bring in labor sort of like nipple stimulation can. Any thoughts?

I dont suggest pumping because you will pump out all of your colustrum. ( thick clear stuff) its so important for your baby to get that right after birth. Instead rub your nipples, I did that and it brought on contractions immediately. I was past 40 weeks at that time too.

I tried nipple stimulation with 2 pregnancies and yes it does cause painful contractions but never put me in labor unfortunately.
