How long did you bleed for ?

Did anyone else bleed for this long after a miscarriage? It's been 5 weeks since I had a natural miscarriage and I am still bleeding. It's not too heavy and is bright red, it tapered off around week 3 then started again after misoprostil. My last blood test said my hcg was 28 that was 2 weeks ago and I am waiting for the results from the test I took on Friday. I also had some "retained product" so took mesoprostol vaginally 3 weeks ago, I am wondering if that's why I am still bleeding. Or could this be my period? I'm sick if bleeding and starting to worry a bit. My doctor knows but didn't seem too concerned because it's not heavy bleeding and my hcg is dropping.
